Chord Coach

Chord Coach is a real-time guitar-learning web app built with React that helps users practice chords in a more interactive and intuitive way. Using the Web Audio API, and Essentia.js for audio analysis, it detects the chords you’re playing string-by-string and provides immediate feedback, turning practice into a guided, responsive experience. Beyond the technical build, the project emphasizes user-centered design, incorporating user research and thoughtful interface design to make practicing feel clear, engaging, and approachable for beginners.
